The Richmond Fishing Expo has big plans for 2011 and it all begins with a brand new location at the Farm Bureau Center - Meadow Event Park in Doswell. This facility is located at the "NEW" State Fairgrounds of Virginia and conveniently located 1 mile off I-95 at the Kings Dominion Exit. For the first time ever the Richmond Fishing Expo to be held under 1 roof in a state of the art 65,000 sq. ft. facility. Just 15 miles north of Richmond The Meadow Event Center offers a central Virginia location with acres of Free Parking and access to I-95 in just one turn making it a convenience for all Virginia Anglers. 

For 3 years The Richmond Fishing Expo has presented in one location the largest array of tackle combined with some of the finest professional talent around offering a weekend of fishing "OVERLOAD".

There's Nothing Better than Seeing a Kid with a Fishing Pole
The Virginia Bass Federation returns in full force this year with the 2011 "Reel Kids" Casting Competition. The 2011 State Finals will be held on Saturday with dozens of the state's best anglers competing for top honors. The Federation will also be holding qualifying rounds for the 2012 "Reel Kids" Competition at the show. Winners at the show will be invited to the state finals to be held at next years event. Also offered by the Federation is the Kid's Corner with games & activities all designed for one thing in mind ...Get Kids Hooked On Fishing

The Mountain Trout Pond Simulator returns and will be filled with over 400 farm raised trout. For a small fee, anglers can fish and have the choice of keeping their catch or releasing them to fight another day.
